University General Requirements

Undergraduate Application

Applications to the undergraduate programs are accepted twice a year.(February and September Intake)

Accepted Higher School Certificates for undergraduate programs

High School Diploma, Higher Secondary School Certificate, General Certificates of Secondary Education (GCSE), Higher Secondary Certificate, Upper Secondary /Secondary School/ High School/ Senior High School Leaving Certificate, Testimonial, Secondary Education Certificate, Senior School Certificate, Matriculation Examination Certificate, SAT , WAEC , WASSCE , NECO , JAMB, BACCALAUREATE.

Note: Standard XII (Grade 12) should have been completed in the relevant countries.

Documents Required for Undergraduate Application, Transfer Student Applications or Associate Degree Holders

Completed Application Form.
Photocopies of Higher Secondary School Certificate and transcript (mark sheets), Diploma and Associate Degree or a National Diploma.
One passport-sized photograph
Short course descriptions
CGPA should be minimum 2.00 out of 4.00 or the equivalent.
Photocopy of the passport (relevant page) or birth certificate
A copy of proof of English Proficiency if any (Optional)
Evidence of financial guarantee (i.e. a letter from a bank) indicating sufficient funds are available for tuition and living expenses. (Optional)

Masters and PhD

Documents and Requirements Needed for Application to Graduate Programs

Applicants for master‘s programs with thesis must possess a bachelor’s degree with CPGA > 2.50/4.00 or 3.2/5.00
An official transcript of all university-level courses taken. A comparative mark/grade table if CGPA on the transcript is not out of 4.00 or 5.00
Attested photocopies of diplomas received from a university or equivalent institutions (i.e. 4 years study bachelor degree).
Three (3) letters of reference
Statement of Purpose / Intention (Please submit on a separate sheet: Your purpose in applying to the program chosen, explaining your motivation as well as the areas of specialization which would be of interest to you within the discipline).
A photocopy of your passport or Birth Certificate
Passport-sized (approx. 6 cm x 5 cm) photographs
Program specific documents: Architecture (Ph.D. & Master): Portfolio.
Candidates are required to submit a document of financial guarantee showing that sufficient funds are available for tuition and living expenses
